SANDY CAPE, WA
Sandy Cape’s one of those spots that often goes overlooked by tourers planning more ambitious expeditions up the west coast. It’s only a little over 200km north of Perth, just past Cervantes and Jurien Bay, and can be reached in less than three hours from the West Oz capital.
PEBBLY BEACH, NSW
Access to the Pebbly Beach campground is via a long beach run from Red Rock in the south, but the most notable driving feature of the area is the water crossing at the mouth of Station Creek.
BOGGY HOLE, NT
Located in the Finke River Gorge, the campsite at Boggy Hole is the gateway to exploring the whole Finke Gorge National Park. There’s a permanent billabong located right by the campground, which is perfect for a cool dip after a morning on the tracks.
