Byfield National Park’s tracks range from gentle to rutted and rocky. There’s some no-joke sand driving action to be had, including the decently challenging ascent of Big Sandy.
Kroombit Tops National Park is a gorgeous hinterland enclave of rainforest and dense woodlands interspersed with a fistful of campsites and a snaking network of mountain tracks.
