CAMPFIRE HOTDOG ROLLS

LET’S BE FRANK, THIS IS THE SIMPLEST CAMPFIRE FEAST WE’VE HAD IN YONKS

This meal is as simple as they come.

A proper campfire feast has to meet three criteria– it must have very few ingredients, it must be possible to cook on a campfire, and it must be delicious.

These tasty hotdog rolls knock them all out of the park. All you need to get started is a pack of hotdog sausages or cocktail franks, a sheet of puff pastry, your dipping sauce of choice and a pack of wooden skewers for cooking.

Simply lay your ‘dawgs’ out on a plate and cut a corresponding number of triangles of puff pastry to wrap around each. Jam a skewer through the end of each snag and roast them over the coals of your campfire.

While this is certainly no gourmet meal, it’s a surefire crowd pleaser and impossible to screw up.
