Isuzu UTE Australia today announced the launch of the new Australian-exclusive Isuzu D-MAX range.

Australia is the second largest global export market for the D-MAX, and the design team at Isuzu has taken on extensive feedback from the Australian market in order to create a new D-MAX range that’s aimed to appeal to touring-minded 4WDers, as well as those needing a single vehicle for family, work and play.

The new D-MAX range has been streamlined and eventually 20 variants will be available. The new local line-up will start with the D-MAX SX Single Cab Chassis 4×2 high-ride – available with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.

With a hefty payload of 1.2 tonnes, plus 3.5 tonne towing capacity across the entire range, the new model is certain to have wide appeal.

With a 3.5 tonne towing capacity across the range, the new D-MAX will of much interest to the camper trailer and offroad caravan crowd.

The all-new D-MAX X-TERRAIN 4X4 model tops the range. It’s packed with exclusive features and will excite those looking for a comfortable, modern offroad capable ute that will go anywhere and do it in style.

The new model represents a shift in what can be expected in safety levels for the premium ute segment, with IDAS: Isuzu’s Intelligent Driver Assistance System, standard across the entire range.

Paired with new 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions, the new range is powered by a reengineered 3-Litre turbodiesel powerplant, capable of outputting 140kW and 450Nm.

The new range has been thoroughly modernised, with comfort and interior space a clear priority. Premium features include Android Auto™ and wireless Apple CarPlay® as standard.

Aesthetically, the new D-MAX looks the goods. It’s a ruggedly refined ute with prominent styling and a muscular stance coupled with premium features.

The top of the range X-TERRAIN 4X4 variant will make a splash amongst the high end touring sector.

New buyers’ will be able to breathe easy, with the new D-MAX range backed by Isuzu UTE Australia’s Service Plus 6-7-7(6 Year Warranty, 7 Years Roadside Assist, 7 Years Capped Price Servicing).

On sale from 1 September 2020, with introductory drive away pricing of $29,990 for the 4×2 D-MAX Single Cab Chassis SX MT and $58,990 for the new flagship D-MAX X-TERRAIN.
