The offroad after-marketeers at ARB are certainly plenty experienced when it comes to maximising cargo space, and their new Sportlid offering fits the bill to a tee.

While a canopy provides extra height for interior storage, the new Sportlid caters to those that prefer the sleeker styling of a tub, yet still require additional roof load space.

The Sportlid offers the best of both worlds: in tub cargo is kept out of the elements, while the extra space up top is freed up in order to house bulky items like swags, bicycles or even a rooftop tent.

The Sportlid is constructed from ultra strong ABS, the same material as ARB’s time-proven canopies. It can carry up to 75kg of dynamic weight and can be opened with up to 13kg of cargo loaded on top.

The dual external T-slot extrusions allow for easy installation and removal of roof bars, racks or other accessories, and the improved new handle design is dead simple to use.

As standard, the lid is locked via a key on the handle, or you can upgrade to a premium kit complete with central locking and interior lighting.

Initially available for (current model) HiLux, Ranger, Amarok, Navara and Colorado, with further model development in progress.
