OUTBACK TAGALONGS LAUNCHES

4WD Touring Australia Publisher and adventurer Carlisle Rogers has just launched a new tour company specialising in 4WD and photographic self-drive tours into some of Australia’s most remote and spectacular locations.

“We don’t do sightseeing tours,” says Carlisle. “We dive deeper into the landscape, sharing secret locations and knowledge with fellow wanderers. We have adventures!”

“Outback Tagalongs is my chance to pass on some of what I’ve learned over the past couple of decades roaming around the Outback.”

Carlisle will be hosting several tagalong tours each year, specialising in on-location photography workshops and tutoring, but offering some trips that are just about the adventure.

“My mission,” he says, “is for everyone to learn something on these trips they can take with them for life. I also want everyone to go home with something beautiful to hang on their wall.”

The company began with trips down the Kimberley’s Gibb River Road, one of Australia’s most photogenic stretches of country, but has swiftly expanded to include trips on both coasts, including a brand new Moreton Island weekend escape.

Future destinations include the Simpson Desert, Cape York and the WA Goldfields.

“Our 2021 Kimberley tours are sold out – but I’ve just launched a new Cape Leveque Photography Tagalong for next year, which is going to be really special.”
