I’ve been lucky enough to spend the last week out on Dirk Hartog Island, land of the last sunset in Australia.
Perched just off the tip of Western Australia’s Steep Point, DHI is the wildest place left in the country. The land is brutal and unforgiving, the sea is pretty brutal and unforgiving too, but it is still rich with fish and life.
I learned a lot filming out here, which I’ll be sharing in our new series, Desert Visions, very soon.
