TOAD IN THE HOLE

THE ENDURING KID-FRIENDLY BREKKIE CLASSIC

There are few things that’ll drag your shivering carcass from the cosy confines of your swag quicker than a cooked brekkie.

And hot cooked brekkies don’t come much simpler or tastier than fried eggs and toast.

Seriously, you could write a whole cook book dedicated to the different ways of combining eggs and bread and it’d probably sell.

If you find yourself on morning galley duty and are looking for a point of difference, why not give this method a whirl? Just be sure to make up two per person plus a couple of extras as these things go like hotcakes.

INGREDIENTS (PER PERSON)

~Two slices of bread

~Two eggs

~Butter

~Handful of shredded tasty cheese

~Slice of bacon
