Manar Park is a sunny state 4WDing purist’s paradise. Right on the border of South Burnett and North Burnett, the expansive offroad playground is set across a 15,000-acre cattle station.

The park is open to 4WDers and campers year round and there’s loads to keep you occupied out here for more than a few days. With over 230km of graded and marked 4WD tracks to work your way through, your next visit likely won’t be your last.

There are over 100 acres of campgrounds spread across the property, with something for everyone. The front and middle and main campgrounds are all kitted out with amenity blocks with flushing toilets and hot showers. If you feel like treating yourself, premium sites with power and shade are available.

4WDING: With 230km of tracks zig-zagging across the park, there’s something for everyone. There’s a bunch of easy novice rated tracks that are great for a warm up, plus no shortage of difficult and extreme rated tracks that’ll give your winch a workout.

TRAIL BIKE AND ENDURO RIDING is also popular within the park. There are over 200km of marked, one-way loops suitable for trail bikes and quad bikes.

LOCATION: Approximately 340km to the northwest of Brisbane, the park can be reached in approximately four hour’s drive from the capital.

CAMPING is available on five large camping areas. All campgrounds are serviced by amenity blocks, and powered sites are also available. Unpowered sites are available at a family rate of $25 per night, with powered sites costing $50 per night. Firewood can be collected from around the property free of charge. Bookings are essential.

FUEL is available in from nearby Durong and Preston, and emergency supplies of fuel can be purchased from the park office.
