JEEP GLADIATOR HITS AUSSIE SHORES

The much anticipated Jeep ute is available in dealerships across Oz!

One of the more unique and talked-about offroad vehicles to make it past the production line in recent years is now on offer in showrooms across the land.

Yep, the Jeep Gladiator, billed as ‘the only convertible lifestyle truck’, has finally made it down under, and whether you’re a Jeep fan or not, we bet you’ll be spying one of these badboys out on the tracks or parked up at a campsite near you in the not-too-distant future.

The Gladiator made headlines some months ago after a press junket across the ditch in EnZed saw a gaggle of motoring journos given free reign to tear around the winding Kiwi mountain roads and tracks in a fleet of the shiny new Jeep utes.

The new truck will be sold in Overland and Rubicon variants, and 100 special Launch Edition models will be sold to a century of the keenest Jeep enthusiasts.

“The Gladiator builds on Jeep’s iconic character and renowned merits, creating the one-of-a-kind convertible truck with unparalleled 4×4 credentials,” claimed Kevin Flynn, Jeep Australia’s top boss.

At this stage, the Gladiator is only offered with an automatic transmission and drivetrain powered by 3.6L petrol V6 donk.

Keep your eyes peeled for an in-depth review just as soon as we’ve locked down a loaner rig from the press fleet.
