The all-new D-MAX X-RUNNER has hit showrooms

The all-new Isuzu D-MAX X-RUNNER has hit showrooms, and these things look absolutely mint! With production capped at just 645 units, they won’t be a dime a dozen, but they’ll sure stand out from the crowd.

They’re offered in two finishes – magnetic red and pearl white (exclusive to the X-RUNNER), and are available for purchase from $54,990.

Prospective buyers will note the improved Service Plus Program, now offering six year warranty, six years roadside assistance and seven years of capped price servicing.

Hiroyasu Sato, Isuzu’s top boss in Australia, commented that the X-RUNNER’s bold styling was all about standing out from the field.

“The D-MAX X-RUNNER was first introduced in 2011 to great success…the latest X-RUNNER made available in 2017 saw more success amongst drivers seeking a bold-looking one-tonne ute.”

“With unique new features and accessories inside and out, and bolstered by it’s unique styling and paintwork, we’re expecting the 2019 X-RUNNER to be even more successful,” claimed Mr. Sato.

Based off the popular 4WD D-MAX LS-T variant, the new X-RUNNER scores a heap of impressive new features including six-way electric driver’s seat, leather accented interior plus passive entry and start system.

The special edition limited run of utes are all powered by Isuzu’s exclusive 3L turbo diesel 4JJ1-TC engine, which generates a serious 430Nm of torque, and is paired with a smooth six-speed automatic transmission.

You’ll be able to spot the first of the new Isuzu D-Max X-Runner’s from way across the campground with a number of exterior styling tweaks. The red and black styling accents from previous X-RUNNER variants are continued, with special branding across the bonnet, doors, rear quarter and tailgate.

If you manage to talk your way into taking one of these babies for a test run, you’ll notice that the slick styling continues within. X-RUNNER scuff plates, piano black finishes and defining red Isuzu badges emblazon the doors, dash and steering wheel.

You can bet your bottom dollar that we’re scrambling to secure one of the new fleet to take on a test run. Keep an eye out for a detailed review down the track.
