PEBBLY BEACH, NSW
Access to the Pebbly Beach campground is via a long beach run from Red Rock in the south, but the most notable driving feature of the area is the water crossing at the mouth of Station Creek.
BOGGY HOLE, NT
Located in the Finke River Gorge, the campsite at Boggy Hole is the gateway to exploring the whole Finke Gorge National Park. There’s a permanent billabong located right by the campground, which is perfect for a cool dip after a morning on the tracks.
WEST MACDONNELL NP, NT
The West Macs are a touch far afield for metro Darwinians but perfect daytrip fodder for Alice Springs residents or visitors to the area. There’s no shortage of stunning distractions on offer for sightseers, with dramatic gorges, ancient Aboriginal sites, sublime lookouts and hiking trails all part of a day’s adventure.
